Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.
Okay, so I got my Russian Pointes, Celesta, Size 37, W2, V1, HLF, Pink...but I won't really have them for 6-8 weeks. They're backordered which of course means they have to actually MAKE them before they can ship them to me. Fine. My feet are tapered so my big toe takes like all the weight when my foot slips down into the shoe. It's very painful. I can work in them for...an hour but it's very painful within just 10 or 15 minutes and I have to have AT LEAST 2 days rest so my feet can stop screaming in pain...fun right? Okay so my Q1 is getting better...I mean easier to use. I'm still digging the Sticky Notes and now that I've gotten my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse working, I can do anything on this that I can do on my laptop AND MORE, PLUS it has Aero working which of course was a big deal ... back when I bought Vista.
I have these weird ups and downs, like I'll be "up" and motivated and ... INSPIRED or something like that, I'm sitting up in bed rather than laying under the covers and then in a matter of seconds I'm down again. This is partially why I so often resort to cartoons. When cartoons are on I don't actually WATCH them so I'm focused on what I'm doing, and there isn't anything sad or "thoughtful" or anger-causing in cartoons. They're just stupid and mindless and bring me down much less often.
I want to go work out but it's so much effort and there's no place in my room where I can workout without a mirror behind me. I don't want to look at myself in any which way. Maybe I'll turn on those pointe videos to see if they're at all interesting enough to try, even though my shoes hurt...maybe I'll even sew some ribbons, but oh...no, that "doom" feeling came over me at just the thought of doing that so maybe some other time.

I've always wanted to write in my journal like this (but neater of course). I used to be able to handwrite neatly in pencil but now I have to think too hard about the letters.

just like a ballet barre, I can totally do ballet workouts and pointe work, I seem to have a pretty high pain threshold in my feet. I can handle pointe shoes that have too-wide toes for
quite a while. That's why I got the Russian Pointes though. I got a narrow toe, shorter vamp, harder shank, and lower crown. They should fit my feet much better. I'm very
excited. Now that I have my little Samsung Q1 (Q1U-V) all I need is the ballet stuff, and I'll be all set! There's so much website updating I should be doing, but there's
no "joy" in it right now. I don't even feel like playing Pogo.com, can you believe it?? Maybe a soda will boost my spirits.
I wanted some pointe shoes that FIT. Okay, I know...but I have this thing. Those Gaynor Mindens just don't fit properly, and I've heard great things about Russian Pointe. I wanted to order from www.russianpointe.com but they don't really do that, or they seem to prefer not to, so I went to...dancedepot.com. Prices were cheaper than other companies but I'm not sure when I'll get my shoes.
my computer hard drive crashed so i'm reverting to paper temporarily. This is at least the third hard drive i've had in just five or six years. i only go this one within the last year! it was running loud, with a scratchy, ticking sort of sound last night. I didn't shut it down because i just had a bad feeling. this morning it was frozen and the hard drive seemed to be running at 100% capacity I had no choice but to shut it down and i got that "no hard drive found" message of death when I turned it back on. i spent the whole day trying to make sure CDW.com got my order shipped out on time so i would receive it in the morning. when costco.com cancelled my order for not being able to verify my credit card which is BULL SHIT, they must have tried again after the fact because they CHARGED ME and today CDW.com couldn't use the card i gave them because costco.com DIDN'T REFUND MY MONEY FOR THE ORDER THEY CANCELLED THREE DAYS AGO! I sent them an email basically saying "WHAT THE HELL?" and they said I'd have my money back in 24 HOURS! i then get a phone call shortly there after saying that i would have to be on the phone with the bank to authorize the cancellation of the charge! FUCKING DRAFT ME A CHECK! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
