Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.
So, my medication is working wonderfully. But I feel like killing myself because of it. I can't find it in myself to be angry with my parents though I have every reason to be. I want to stop taking it so I can have my life back.
black as night, a bird that sings
white as light, an angel's wings
fairy tales, lies at dawn
burnt out lights that won't turn on
children lying in the snow
something that you didn't know
common sense or lack thereof
feathers on a snow white dove
triggers causing tears to flow
feeling down, dirty, low.
something falling out of place
and old, weathered, wrinkled face.
forest creatures, river beds
something stuck inside your head
floating freely heaven bound
after falling to the ground
water rushing tides that ebb
life is just a tangled web
sorrow lingers bringing death
forcing out a final breath
hatred looms inside the mind
easier than you think to find
marbles clatter, empty space
something here is out of place.
thoughts of death in angry waves
dark and scary inhabited caves
fear of spiders, snakes, and bees
rabid dogs with ravenous fleas
psychopaths who kill for sport
a child's broken, ravaged fort
fatherless children lost to life
hearts broken by way of the knife
homeless given to the cold
children stuffed into a mold
helpless creatures scarred by death
a hopeless, desperate, final breath.
birthday parties and balloons
nights filled with darkened moons
happiness, hugs, and thanks
forest creatures, river banks
childhood memories, sandbox treasures
sadness looming, forgotten pleasures
warmth and kisses, love for all
catch me quick before i fall
fairy tales, bedtime stories
eulogies, forgotten glories
giving thanks and saying grace
a burial shroud to hide my face.
