Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.
refuses to maintain body weight at or above the minimum `normal' weight for age and height (e.g. less than 85% of expected weight); has an intense fear of gaining weight or of becoming fat; has a disturbance in the way in which her or his body weight or body shape is experienced, or denies the seriousness of the present low body weight; has amenorrhea (in the case of post-menarchal females).
recurrent episodes of binge eating (eating an amount (>1000 Calories) that is larger than most people would eat during a similar period of time, and a sense of lack of control over eating during the episode; recurrent, inappropriate compensatory behavior in order to prevent weight gain (e.g. self-induced vomiting, misuse of laxatives or diuretics, fasting or excessive exercise); these behaviors must occur, on average, at least twice a week for 3 months; body shape and weight unduly influence self-evaluation and self-esteem.
THE DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA FOR GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER
DSM-IV lists six diagnostic criteria, all of which must be met for a diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder to be made. ICD-10 has similar diagnostic criteria, although it specifies that four symptoms out of a list of 22 must be present; five of the six symptoms in the DSM-IV criteria are in this list of 22 symptoms.
THE DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA FOR MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER
In order for a diagnosis of major depressive disorder to be made according to the DSM-IV criteria, the patient must meet the criteria for a major depressive episode. In addition, this episode must not be better accounted for by another psychiatric diagnosis, and the patient must never have had a manic, mixed or hypomanic episode.
THE DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA FOR OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER
The DSM-IV criteria require that the following criteria for obsessions be met: recurrent, persistent thoughts, impulses or images that are intrusive and inappropriate and that cause marked anxiety or distress; these thoughts, impulses or images are not simply excessive worries about real-life problems; the patient attempts to ignore or suppress the thoughts, impulses or images or to neutralize them with another thought or action; the patient recognizes that the obsessions are a product of his or her own mind (and not imposed from outside).
