Welcome to Amas Veritas [dot] com

Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.

As High As the Clouds Print E-mail

Tragidy came and I held it inside
It found a dark place inside me to hide
It spread like a venom through all of my veins
It told me I wasn't enough as I came
I wanted the world but all that I got
Was a dark dingy lonely cold cemetery plot.
With spoon and fork I dig through the sand
Reaching the top where I'm convinced that I can
I'm dirty and lonely but I know I can go
As high as the clouds in the sky like to flow.

Note: I wrote the CAPITALIZED sections only as a project for group.

I don't BELIEVE THAT I CAN anymore
I don't KNOW WHAT'S TRUE like I did before
I'm wrapped up in ALL THE PAIN THAT I'VE FELT
Now I'm ready to ASK SOMEONE ELSE FOR THEIR HELP
I finally see HOW SICK I HAVE BEEN
A sign that tells me NOT TO GIVE IN
Behind the darkness I'M LAYING IN WAIT
No longer afraid of THE VOICES THAT HATE
A glimpse of HOPE STANDS behind this fight
I just want HAPPINESS in my life
A chance to FACE MY FEARS A WHILE
A chance to SEE LIFE AS SOMETHING WORTHWHILE
A chance to look around and be UNIQUELY ME
A chance to finally say I LIKE WHAT I SEE
