My life is a mess righ now, great way to start off the new year. My co-worker and I told our manager that we are officially looking for new jobs. That will leave no one in the entire department [who actually works] but that is no longer our problem. Fortunately, it's not his problem either, that's why we didn't feel too bad telling him. He's only our "personel" supervisor. He just makes sure we show up and get our work done (and he's really cool). He really has no stake in the deparment. That was Friday afternoon and today I've sent my resume to Huntington Memorial Hospital and Earthlink, both are in Pasadena which is ideal. I'll be devistated if I don't get one of them. I was considering applying at Parsons, headquartered in Pasadena but on their website they're all wearing suits and they are asking for a cover letter which I've never written. Earthlink would be awsome, but so would Huntington Hospital (great benefits). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I was having chest pains Friday morning and when my co-worker and & I decided we were leaving and we'd do it together, the darkness lifted lol. She was all "it'll be okay .. GO TEAM!"...heh. I'm still totally stressed though to that point where every word that's said to me makes my head want to crack wide open in FUCK OFF! anger. I feel like I've gained 5-10 points which probably isn't true but it isn't helping matters. The DSL being down made me want to scream at my mother but that wouldn't have helped matters. She didn't even care. I contacted Dell's business deparment regarding compatible graphics cards for my server and their website says they'll reply within 2 hours 24/7 but it's been 24 hours and I haven't heard anything. I need to go to bed. I have to be up in 8 hours and I still want to read.
