I don't have much to say these days, that's why I'm working "behind the scenes" mostly. I'm on my weight loss tirade where nothing anyone could say would bring me out of it. My face is getting sunken and people are starting to look at me funny. Not that I care. I went searching the web last night for people to invite to dragon-ears.com (since no one's coming on their own). I found a lot of weird and pointless things, people who didn't have anything to say, sites for information purposes only, sites that fade into the multitude of repetitive crap on the web, spun from boredom and...the "pink cloud" i think. (that one's for Michelle). There's site after site after site of "anti-pro" propaganda, condemning those who want to belong to something, shouting out in some sort of self righteous blather "[Pro-ana] sites must be regulated as strictly and harshly as pornography sites.." There is then site after site of pro-ana creepoids who think if you're not with them, ready to inflict your silent death on the unknowing, then you're against them, visiting only to play witness, to report these atrocities to the servers who feed them. "Contrary to popular misconception, volitional anorexics possess the most iron-cored, indomitable wills of all. Our way is not that of the weak. If we ever completely tapped that potential in our midst, and applied it to other areas outside eating habits and body sculpting, the fact is, we could change the world. Completely. Maybe even rule it. Is THAT what they are so afraid of? …Could it simply be that those who wield their pathetic little naked-emperor reign so irresponsibly and selfishly do NOT want word getting out to 'the masses' of how simple a matter it is to throw off their chains and exist self-directed?" (a.u.g.). Where are the sites of those who just want to be, who aren't pro or anti-pro or pro-recovery? Have we all been silenced by the extreme? Are we no longer worth a simple justifiable "group"? Some of us are passionate in life, some of us are passionate in death, we just are, whoever we are, yet we're silent. Why is that? Is it passion we lack? Passion for the world to be like us, to be supported, to be not alone? Or, with a bit more "life" behind us, are we just too "realistic", doomed to forever, silently, accept our fate, wish it on no one? Why should we inflict this hell on all those disgustingly happy [fake] people? Why fight the "the masses" when our goal is to fade to gray so to speak. Red and white just aren't our colors. Is it maybe because deep down we don't see why everything has to be so damn difficult all the time? "Just leave me alone and let me fade away in peace" has always been my motto. You're reading this for a reason, don't you have something you want to say? Why do we mute ourselves when the internet, in all it's anonymous glory, is asking, PLEADING for us to turn up the volume? I guess cutting, self injury of any kind, might be the only volume we'll allow ourselves. Too bad, I'm sure we all have a lot to say.
