Welcome to Amas Veritas [dot] com

Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.

I had 3/4 of a bagel (no cream cheese) last night and was in such I panic I left work an hour early and exercised 3 hours when I got home. It was an "everything" bagel and it was kinda old and gross and totally not worth it. They're bringing cheesy baked spaghetti, flan, cheese cake, and other not even healthy things for our Christmas party thing at work. Some of us don't want to gain 10 pounds over the holidays. Staying the same weight is the least I can ask for. They want me to change my therapy appointment just to make it more convenient for them. I don't even want to go. They want to have beer, talk about the worst thing to do to a holiday party. Why bother coming if they're going to drink through the whole thing. I don't get it. My supervisor says (jokingly I hope) that he "requires" 100% attendance at parties which is crap. I don't want to be a "family" blah blah blah. It's all such fake bull shit. If I could just go to work, come home, and when I'm ready I'll find people I actually have things in common with and don't spend eight and a half hours a day with, all would be a little less ... painful. I'm really not in the mood to be writing.
