From postponed to cancelled, a few weeks ago I had some hope left. So much for that. Sure, I'd like an explanation, but I'm sure they won't bother to give one. Acute Laryngitis is understandable and excusable and...I had a hard time believing that she'd reschedule anyway. When she took on the additional concert dates in August, and then Japan in September, I believed less and less that she would reschedule California. I will NEVER attend one of her concerts in the future, or anyone else's for that matter. I am convinced everything I plan now is jinxed. My uncle sent us tickets to the Dodger game on June 5th and I'm convinced it will rain or something and that will be cancelled too. We have 4 tickets and my dad & I are going alone (and it's a Thursday night when local schools are preparing for finals) so I hope to have a bit of space ot ourselves. People can be pretty rude and obnoxious there.
Avril's website hasn't even posted the confirmed cancellation of the Gibson Amphitheatre concert. I check every day. If she hasn't cancelled all the other dates she postponed, I'll be pretty upset. There's just no excuse for it.
About the same day, I received a letter from the State Board of Equalization. Because I had no sales last year, I was just too busy with my real job to put money into my side business, they cancelled my seller's permit. They said my explanation wasn't a good enough excuse and that I would have to get a new permit to start selling again. It was hard enough getting the permit in the first place, I won't do it again. They said they cancelled it to "save money." It costs more money to register for a new one because of all the BS they give you. It took about six months for me to get this one because no one responded to me, gave me BS about getting it done, charged me a fortune for the permit that I didn't have and which shouldn't have cost me a thing anyway, it was a nighmare. They're such losers over there.
