Welcome to Amas Veritas [dot] com

Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.

Asked directions,
Arrived on time,
Helped deliver the baby,
Cleaned the stable,
Made a casserole,
Brought practical gifts and
There would be peace on earth.

Average minds discuss events.
Small minds discuss people.

the life that is waiting for us.
The old skin has to be shed
before the new one can come

-- Joseph Campbell

the homes of friends

The ordeal of being true to your own inner way must stand high on the list of ordeals. It is like being in the power of someone you cannot reach, know or move, but who never lets you go; who both insists that you accept yourself and who seems to know who you are."
-Florida Scott-Maxwell
The Measure of My Days

"Again, foul weather shall not change my mind,
But in the shade I will believe what in the sun I loved."
-Henry David Thoreau

It does not do to dwell on dreams
and forget to live.
-Albus Dumbldore
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

We do not stop playing because we grow old;
we grow old because we stop playing.

When you believe
that you cannot
stitch your own heart
back together,
go to work on the
hearts of others.
