The power went out. Of course. It's very heavy winds but the power lines are underground, what's there to blow down? I keep hearing the atrium doors of the [vacant house] next door slam. It sounds like they're open and they'll be torn from their hinges soon. The husband & wife of the last twenty years of my life have divorsed and an asian [man/couple/family] bought the house next door [for $900,000+]. The man pulled out some ivy and took down a short, odd, white brick wall and put up a crooked, odd-er, peach, cement-slopped wall around the dirt that used to be hidden by the simple, everlasting, lives even if you don't want it to, ivy. I think he said he was an architect...
He's asking $1.05 million. It has sat there, with its peachy exterior paint, it's lovely stale dirt front yard and slopped cement wall, and dead grass in the backyard, for a month or more. There are 226 vacant proprties in this town, there's even a house down the street with a gorgeous front & side yard. The walls must be lined with gold or something to be asking so much for such an eyesore. Not like our street is very designer or anything. The family across from that house added pseudo-bay windows all over, they're boxes stuck to the side of the walls. No joke. The lady across the street painted her house a sort of royal blue around a year ago. These people should really consult...someone before making such drastic decisions.
Windows Vista Release Candidate 1 came out as well as Microsoft Office 2007 Beta 2. I'm practically drooling. Not to mention the terabyte external hard drive that has arrived on the market from Lacie. Only $539 on eBay last week. Oh and 8GB compact flash drives and InfoPath for all those less than tolerant days where I'm required to design a full featured form on the double. Microsoft 2007 Forms Server, SharePoint, EXPRESSION WEB. My server is being difficult. I'm forced to use my tired laptop with Windows Vista and other Microsoft Beta releases but I have to say, I'm inspired and not so much ready to scream. The new Windows sidebar is super cool and they make it totally easy to have a Windows Live blog because you can basically email someone and append your responce to your blog. Found your responce humorous? Others might as well!
