Welcome to Amas Veritas [dot] com

Updates: Media (lyrics) has a new layout. I could never figure out how to lay it out, but it's easier to navigate now. I'm still working on a better duplicate Mamblog mod. I'm trying to make submittions easier but the poetry form died for some reason. Quizzes are also on their way from the old site. Joomla content isn't very code friendly so I'm having to rewrite old code. You can still click on News > AH v21 > Screen if you wish to use the quizzes.

Racing through courses as fast as she can
The people she knew staring in awe
Never before a race so important
Never before has she felt so strong

Her horse jumps one fence and aims for the next
She seems so perfect up there on her mount
She is seen by all who know her as quite a talent
But inside she knows her hardened smile is false

All this competition be it school or sports
Could never make her as happy as she pretends to be
Her many accomplishments do not make her proud
But she does not know why or how to be happy

She strives for perfection in all that she does
Milliseconds decide if she wins or loses
Glaring at her rivals as she gallops by
She'd rather die than lose to them

One jump left, one chance left to win
The crowd holds their breath as she runs to the end
Too close to tell if the won the race
Then the judge calls her name as he holds up first place.
